We all know break-ups can be rough, but who would have thought this couple's separation would bring out the worst? It appears our favorite English flower ROSE KNIGHTLEY and her behind-the-scenes boyfriend OCTAVIUS PEPPER haven't been playing nice since their relationship's postmortem. How sad-- but fortunate for the rest of us, because who doesn't love a juicy story? And boy does this one have an ending you won't believe!
For those of you who haven't been keeping up, it all started when the couple's last public appearance was in August. Skip forward two months and sources reported that the Catapults player was not present at her significant other's birthday bash, despite both attending the fallen-from-social graces AXEBANGER BROOKSTANTON's much famed celebration, hosted by none other than CHARLIE SPINNET. We here at the Tattler offices found it suspicious that they arrived separately, and hours apart, but now we know why.
It wasn't until Halloween weekend that things started to become clear. First-hand sources swear that the now-famed heated exchange at the Museum of Magical History's fundraiser was one for the ages, with voice levels practically breaking glass. While we were and continue to be unable to figure out what this screaming match was about, we can certainly verify it was cut short by our good friend, and Rose's bff (we know some wish that was bf!), THOMAS MCCORMACK. What was going on there, Thomas? Would you care to explain what's really going on? We'd love to know!
Then, last weekend we all witnessed the rather vicious Kestrels/Catapults match, which resulted in the Catapults first break into the top 8 all season. It was impossible to not notice Knightley's special interest in Spinnet the whole match, seemingly making it her personal goal to see how many times she could break his nose. Now, either that was her open application to be recruited for the Falcons, or the Catapult had a bone to pick. We wonder what that could be about?
And finally, the latest development in this saga--- we just received word that Knightley's WWN interview concerning being England's newest face for the European Cup has been rescheduled indefinitely. Is it a coincidence that her ex is the station manager? Definitely not. And it's a right out travesty that Pepper can't be professional and let Rose do her job!
After all this, our offices couldn't help but wonder what is really going on, and if this is just a horrible break up or something more, perhaps all over a certain ex? With so many overlapping players, it seems hard to tell, but we think we've figured out this development, and it couldn't make us any happier. Who doesn't a story about turning back the page and giving love a second chance?
Have KNIGHTLEY and SPINNET finally rekindled their former love? It certainly seems to explain a lot of what has been happening with two of our favorite quidditch stars!
