CLASS: Upper class and relatively popular. She's a cheerleader and she's super friendly. Kasia has plenty of friends. Her family also has plenty of money and she wants for very little.
FAMILY: Mother, Father, Little Brother. Kasia is close to her family. She loves them all and would do anything for them. Even Shane, who can be kind of a butthead sometimes.
SEXUALITY: Straight. Not super experienced, but not a prude, either. She's a romantic at heart and not into casual hookups.
ACTIVITIES: Cheerleading, Science Club, Environmental Club, Intramural Volleyball.. and lots of others.
APPEARANCE: Kasia doesn't think of herself as being exceptionally beautiful, but she's self-confident to know that she's pretty and that confidence shows in the way she carries herself. She isn't a girl who takes an insanely long time with her appearance. Kasia generally leaves her hair to dry in natural waves, though she does occasionally straighten it.
She favors moderately casual clothing, jeans and t-shirts although sometimes she'll dress a little more femininely. It all depends on her mood. In general, though, she tends to look pretty cute.

DETAILED PERSONALITY:
Kasia is a vivacious, friendly, energetic young girl who always seems to be on the go. She has a million things going on at once at any given time, but while she will complain about how insane her life is, the truth is that she wouldn't have it any other way. Kasia thrives on being busy, on feeling like she is constantly going somewhere and doing something. She's not fond of sitting still, which is probably why she never did very well naturally in classes that required a lot of sitting down to study. She's all over the classes that have a lot of activity to them, like science labs and P.E., but she always had to force herself to sit down and read the material first.
She's a sweet, caring and trustworthy friend, always willing to do whatever is needed for those she cares about. Kasia is loyal to a fault, even when she doesn't get the same treatment in return and once you've made a friend in her, it's awfully hard to lose that friendship. She's a lot more forgiving than she should be and far too quick to believe in the good in everyone. Kasia can be considered naive in that sense - it's really difficult to convince her that anyone is inherently bad. She believes in right and wrong and she's firmly on the side of following the rules, but she doesn't see the rule-breakers in the world as being bad people at heart. It might be her romantic nature, but she doesn't believe anyone is irredeemable.
Kasia is passionate. She's driven and determined, especially when it comes to her future career. Kasia has wanted to go into medicine for as long as she can remember and she'll talk your ear off about why and how important it is if you'll let her. On the flip side of that, though, she has a definite flair for the dramatic, especially when things don't seem to be going her way.
HISTORY:
The Stephens family was one that was born to wealth and privilege for many generations. Kasia was the first child Leah gave birth to. Shane came along less than a year later, before Kasia was old enough for jealousy or whining about having to share her parents' attention. Sure, maybe she threw a tantrum or two when she wanted her mom at the same time her brother did, but over all she didn't mind him being around.
As they grow up, Kasia started to realize that she and Shane were very different people, but she loved them all the same. She's never been as casual about her relationships as he big brother and she's certainly been more responsible and done better in school, but he's still her baby brother. She loves him a lot.
The Stephens have plenty of money and Kasia never wanted for anything growing up. She's always had the best toys, the newest gadgets, the nicest cell phones. In a word, Kasia was spoiled. She's never let that go to her head, though. For a rich kid, she's amazingly down to earth. She volunteers her time and donates her money to charity. She isn't at all snobby about who she spends her time with.
When Kasia started school, she made friends easily. She was always a bright and inquisitive child and she loved socializing with her classmates. She had a number of close friends from early one, one of those girls who even had a handful of best friends. She did tend to get in trouble a lot for talking too much in class, but she just couldn't help it. Her friends were always so much more interesting than the teachers.
Of course, with puberty came an interest in boys on top of her usual socializing. Kasia isn't what one would normally refer to as boy-crazy, but she's definitely not one to shy away from dating. Her relationships have varied in length and seriousness, but she doesn't believe she's found the one, yet, and she's determined that she will one day. She's positive that he's out there somewhere and that one day she'll have a magical love story to tell her own children, just like the one she begged her parents to tell her as a child (or possibly last week, but shhhh).
Love isn't the only thing on her mind these days, however. Kasia also works really hard during the school year to make sure her grades are good enough to get her into college and eventually med school. Kasia has wanted to be go into medicine ever since she was a small child and a part of her is terrified she won't make the grade. She's not the best student, but it's something she's willing to work for.
