Gage Wyzisky

NAME: Gage Wyzisky
AGE/BIRTHDAY: January 23, 1994
GRADE: 11th Grade
CLASS: upper class

FAMILY: Mother: Alicia Wyzisky; Father (biological): Christopher Prescott; Father (known): Nikolas Wyzisky; Brothers: Colton Wyzisky (16) and Tracey Wyzisky (13)

Gage is quite close to his parents and siblings. A lot of the time he'd blow off his friends for his siblings and generally shares everything with them. Currently Gage is unaware that Nikolas isn't his biological father and should he come to realize it then it would rock his tight knit relationship with is parents.
SEXUALITY: heterosexual
ACTIVITIES: basketball, baseball, getting in trouble with Ryan...

APPEARANCE: When Gage was a child he was all blonde hair and big blue eyes. The blue eyes didn’t change as he aged, but the blonde hair inevitably darkened and stopped at a nice light brown. Of course that light brown hair often has some natural blonde highlights streaking through it from his time spent outside playing sports and the like, but it always manages to go back to strictly brown when the weather gets colder. He keeps it cut to a moderate length and uses a bit of gel to keep it staying how he wants it though he never does anything too drastic with it. He generally prefers to just run his hands through it with gel a couple times and let it fall how it may.

When it comes to style though Gage always has the best. He may act like he doesn’t care when he’s putting an outfit together, but he generally knows what goes well together and what looks best on him and stays with it. He’d deny to anyone ever going out of his way to get a new pair of his favorite jeans, shoes, sunglasses, whatever. He does, however, have a habit of constantly tugging at his shirts as though they aren’t long enough and most of the time doesn’t even notice he’s doing it unless someone points it out to him.

PLAYED BY: Jason Dohring icons

LIKES: basketball, baseball, his siblings, his friends, pranks, having fun, blueberry muffins, grilled cheese, pwning the world...

DISLIKES: being told he isn't capable of something, obnoxious sounding music, gum on the bottom of his shoes, the smell of blueberry muffins despite how good they taste...

STRENGTHS: friendly and outgoing, so he makes friends easily; normally quite difficult to upset or rattle; smart

WEAKNESSES: lets his anger fester; isn't good at confronting people; doesn't take being told no too well

DETAILED PERSONALITY: Gage is a very friendly and outgoing individual. He typically is open to trying to be friends with anyone. He never really got the need to be elitist like some of his friends were. He honestly never cared about the money his parents had. It was there money and not his. He wanted to be friends with who he wanted to be friends with and if you were willing to talk to him (or even smile back at him) then there was a good chance that he called you his friend.

And as a friend he was always quite reliable. He was the one that his friends went to when they had a problem even if it was just for someone to listen to their problems and give them an opinion. He was always willing to help (well as long as it wasn’t during class time or one of his sporting events). He often even found himself up in the wee hours of the night because one of his friends had shown up or called and needed someone to talk to.

Gage’s biggest personality flaw though is that he lets things that upset him fester. He stews on it for a long time and then finally he confronts the person. Unfortunately because he let it fester for so long it is less a friendly confrontation and more a screaming match. A lot of people end up quite shocked by this just because they weren’t used to hearing him say or do anything in such a way and didn’t realize that he kept a running tally in his head of everything they’ve said and done to upset him that eventually he’ll dredge back up in a very unpleasant way.

HISTORY: Alicia Prewitt and Christopher Prescott didn’t have a fairytale life together. They didn’t marry when she found out that she was pregnant shortly before their graduation from Wheaton Academy. No, she didn’t even tell him she was pregnant. Instead she confided in her parents who then told the Prescotts. The Prescotts decided it would be in both Alicia and Christopher’s best interest if he wasn’t told and they found another man for her to marry who was willing to call the child his own. Right after her graduation she was married to Nikolas Wyzisky and seven months later they welcomed “their” first child, Gage.

Gage was a happy and active baby. He was never overly fussy, but he seemed to have an endless amount of curiosity about everything and could often be found amusing himself by testing everything from what happened if he put something in his mouth to how many times his parents would pick something up for him before putting it away. This curiosity continued on when the Wyzisky’s welcomed their second child, another son who was born when Gage was just a little over a year old. Gage spent a great deal of time gazing at the other child and touching him, though more often than not that touching became poking and prodding which led to an unhappy little brother and a time out for Gage.

Life was good for Gage and his little brother. They had two loving parents, a house and everything they could ever ask for. What neither of them asked for though was for their mom to fall pregnant again. She gave birth to another little boy when Gage was four and the other brother was three. Alicia was a little upset as she’d hoped to finally have a little girl, but she still loved her son. For the Wyziskys this would be their last child. The two oldest children were the closest of friends and playmates and always cheered each other on in any endeavor they tried.

The biggest disappointment for Gage was when he started school and he realized that not only would he be separated from his parents, but his brother(s). He lamented about it all summer and begged to be allowed to be home schooled, but was firmly informed that he would attend school just as they had. So it was with a heavy heart that he did just that. He vowed to himself that he wouldn’t like the teachers or any of the other students and that he wouldn’t make any new friends! And that promised lasted until all of lunch time where he was invited to play a game of dodgeball with some other boys from his class and he formed the starts of a solid bond with them.

It was obvious through elementary school that Gage was a smart child. How smart only came into play later though when his second grade teacher noticed he was doing multiplication tables that she’d only mentioned in passing when she’d shown them the basic multiplication they’d be learning later. Soon she started dropping him various bits of extra credit that included arithmetic, spelling, history, science and various other studies that weren’t taught until the students were older. When Gage continuously brought it back and it was correct she simply gushed about it and went straight to his parents about having him tested for the gifted program and moving him up. Gage, however, would have none of it. He had friends he didn’t want to leave and he didn’t want to be stuck with children older than him. So he got tutors instead.

Elementary school went by quickly for Gage. Between school at school and school at home and spending time with his friends and his brothers he found that time simply seemed to fly by and then he was in middle school. The only big difference in middle school was the introduction of team sports. Gage knew that basketball and baseball were so very much for him and so he tried out with his parents urging him on and his brothers cheering for him. And while he definitely wasn’t all-star material he was good and definitely good enough to get on, so he had to add all the sporting events to his list of activities he had going on.

When it was time for high school Gage went to the high school he'd known his entire life he'd attend, Arcadia High School. He realized now that he had to focus on himself and what he wanted to do with his life and not his friends. Oh he was still friends with them, but his studies and extracurricular activities were to better his chances of getting into a good college. He took the advanced classes in school that he’d been putting off and he excelled. He joined baseball and basketball again as well as other academic clubs. He planned on excelling and hopefully landing a scholarship to any college he wanted to go to.
