APPEARANCE: Darion is tall, just below 6 feet, and has a slinky sort of air. He doesn’t just walk through the streets, he glides. He slides. He slinks. He’s always leaning on lockers and looking girls up and down. He’s a huge flirt and a bigger dog. His older sister is usually disgusted by the way he treats girls and says if their mother was alive she’d have beat him black and blue so he couldn’t sit down.

Darion has dark eyes, dark hair, and a dark demeanor. He sort of draws people in to him. And uses them in every way possibly. He’s smooth in his moves, and his flirtations, but he’s hard. He’s a fight first ask questions later kind of guy.

STRENGTHS: He can sort of talk his way out of difficult situations. People tend to like him or hate him, and he likes it that way. He has a few close friends, but not too many at his haughty taughty high school. He’s an ok artist.

WEAKNESSES: Shiny things. Things that aren’t his. Stirring the pot. Causing drama.

DETAILED PERSONALITY: In one word: Coveter. Darion wants what everyone else has. He wants their cars. He wants their girls. He wants their respect. He would rape someone under the right circumstances. Lust, greed, name a deadly sin and he’s done it or thought about it. Darion is a hoodlum who is only in school because his daddy would beat his ass if he couldn’t collect his social security check from him because he got locked up or dropped out. So Darion skirts the line of what he can and cannot do.

He’s not all bad, though. He’s a trouble maker with a capital T, but really he’s just acting out because he feels like he has no one. The gang buddies he’s trying to get in with offer him a sense of family and protection his own doesn’t. He wants to be loved, he wants someone to tame him, but he’d never say that to your face. He’s fiercely, FIERCELY loyal. He would die for the people he cares about, like his sister. She hates him for his womanizing ways and how people kinda find him irresistible like moths being drawn to flames, but he loves her. And if anything ever happened to her he’d go crazy. He’s hard, but he keeps it subtle. He’s not screaming I’M A DRUGGIE GANG MEMBER!

HISTORY: Murdered in a drive by when Darion was 11, Latesha Holmes, wife to Jerel, was the mother of Darion and his older sister. He never truly got over it, but very few people know about it. Darion was devastated, but instead of dealing with his pain, he’s buried it. Unfortunately, since he was so loved from the beginning of his life, he can’t bury it entirely, so he lashes out by toeing the line of bad but not too bad.

He has a difficult home life. His father is rarely home and his sister works a lot of hours to make them extra money under the table. He hates their life and wants to escape, and the only way he saw how originally was through substance abuse. His smooth talking ways and light attitude in front of the cops often saved him and his friends from trouble. So a dealer got him a hook up with some gang bangers. If he goes out tagging a couple nights a week they’ll hook him up with all the pot he wants and a considerable “allowance.”

Darion spends a lot of time out with his friends. He’s fiercely loyal, often taking the rap so his friends don’t get in trouble. He can take it. A short juvi stint and having to call in to a parole officer once a month wasn’t much to keep his friend getting locked down for breaking parole.

At school, he makes ok grades, but he’s a trouble maker. He picks on other kids, fights, brings drugs in the school, and disrupts class. He calls detention his home away from home. He’s always flirting with the ladies and is pretty dirty. Some girls find that irresistible and the rest he doesn’t care about.
