» How do I edit or delete a journal entry?

Click the Edit Entry button () or link. You can also use the Edit Journal Entries page or a downloadable client.

Editing an entry permanently changes the text. Deleting an entry permanently deletes the text, comments, and polls. Why not save the original entry text elsewhere or change the entry's security level instead?

You may need to set your default text encoding before editing or deleting entries.

» What is the "Disable Auto-Formatting" option?

When posting an entry or comment, Scribbld normally adds line breaks any time you hit the enter or return key, and turns URLs into links. However, you can code HTML manually with the "Disable Auto-Formatting" option on comment forms and the HTML editor on the Post an Entry page.

In addition, <lj-raw> disables auto-formatting for all or part of your entry, comment, or user bio.

<lj-raw> unformatted text </lj-raw>
