The Landing officially opened its doors on June 26th, 2005.

Built in 1917, The Landing underwent a $2 million renovation to become NYC's premier special events and concert venue. The venue boasts over 17,000SF, three distinct rooms, a grand foyer, full service bars, a state of the art lighting system and an extensive caterers prep kitchen which allows for outside licensed and insured catering. The Landing is open to hosting live concerts, trade shows, private parties, weddings, corporate meetings and fundraisers.

Owner and founder Nathan Eldridge had a vision to create a venue in the heart of historic Greenwich Village that would treat deserving artists with respect and provide them with a chance to showcase their many talents. The Landing strives to preserve the history of music and art, the venue is a place where progression and innovation “the foundation of all music and art“ are encouraged and practiced on a nightly basis. In addition to the main acts that feature the likes of Nathan Eldridge, Nora Jones and Tulip Bruhl; the Landing has introduced a weekly open-mic night to showcase New York's up-and-coming eclectic artist.

Over the ears, the Landing has been an economic engine for Greenwich Village alongside with its sister venue, The Blue Note, bringing in musicians and artists from all over the world. The club receives rave reviews on a weekly basis in New York's daily newspapers, such as The New York Times and in international travel guides and magazines. What makes the Landing special is that on any given night, anything can happen. Familiar faces like Allison Sudol (lead singer of A Fine Frenzy), Ben Harper, Tiesto, and Aubrey Drake Graham can be spotted sitting in the audience.

Private events such as weddings, birthday parties, bridal showers, banquets and fundraisers have all taken place at The Landing. The Landing gives artists the musical freedom they deserve, and fans a chance to see the most unlikely combination of stars night after night.
