Calling Around
A lot going on very quickly. It had been so long that it was just him and Gio... then Angelo. Since then, things have grown quickly. Andrew fully intended to take advantage of that. Now that they've brought on some official staff, it was time to take advantage of all that momentum. As soon as he gets caught up, however temporarily, on paperwork, he starts making calls...

Calling Xavier's.... asking for both Cassidy, and one of the McCoys.
Calling Nell.
Calling Rikki up at her convenience.
Calling Julian.

Any of these could go quite badly... but nothing was ever acheived through a lack of effort.

That's what he was hoping to hear. "Nell St. Croix is going to be joining our staff as head of social affairs, hopefully with some help by my brother. This is going to put her in a handful of dangerous positions from baseline and mutant threats alike... so we're assigning her a bodyguard. When she is on any assignment outside the embassy, you're to protect her from all threats. You don't need to make any statements or agree with what she says, but without direction from the embassy, you're not to contradict her or try and make her look bad either. The first handful of assignments will be taking place in Mutant Town and helping with the recovery there."

Rikki's general response to stress is to hit things, which is precipitated by an increase in density. When she can't hit things, which is absolutely the case here, she still defaults to the density change. The floorboards creak for a moment, before she gets it under control.

"I understand," she said, after a moment. She could rationalize this. It did give her the chance to hit things...

And more importantly, she did believe in getting Mutant Town back off the ground.

	Cassidy has been working on an idea to present to Professor Xavier and Uncle Scott when the call came through. He'd been thinking of calling Andrew to talk it over as well, so when he hears his brother is on the phone, he heads over to grab it. "Cassidy speaking." he says. (Reply to this)(Thread)

	"Thanks, your people did a good job too.... and Giovanna is fine, I'm well. But the job is only half finished. I have no intention of leaving it at just slowing down police activity. We have a new social affairs director here... and a plan to try and improve mutant town, answer some of the big questions, create jobs, low income housing... with a major problem." 	Cassidy will arrive with Izzy in tow and nod to both Andrew and Gio when he sees them. "Hey, you two. Great to see you again. This is my girlfriend, Izzy. Izzy...this is my brother, Andrew." 	Julian has Minnie place a call to Nell St. Croix, inviting her to dinner at a time and place of her choosing to discuss her ideas for District X.
