Good afternoon students!

It has been such a pleasant return to school this year that I lost track of time and must apologize for sending the weekly newsletter out one day late! I hope everyone enjoyed a safe weekend! I saw that many of you were out and about for the second game of the year!

Shenandoah met Shawnee on Friday night and Shenandoah proved that they are a formidable team this year. Lead by Coach Teodoro Ramirez, the Alligators rocketed their way to victory. Dani Quentin, junior, said "Don't matter if not everyone on the field played to their full potential, the team really busted out of the gate in a big way this year and we aint stoppin' for nothing!" Eden-Rae Lee, sophomore said "We're starting the year as we mean to go on, we've got a strong team and are gonna smash everyone else into the ground!" Alexandria Quentin, junior, said "With two Quentins on the field, even if one clearly outshone the other, I'd say it's pretty obvious that we would win. I carried us to a flawless victory, as usual."

The University Quodpot team, lead by second year Hunter Sommer, met against The California College of Magic on Saturday night. Though it was a shaky start for the University's first game of the season, they showed that their summer training really paid off. Hunter was quoted saying "Everybody knows that the west coast can't play no Quodpot any better than they play Quidditch! We hit 'em so hard, when they woke up those kids didn't even have clothes in style no more! I ain't kiddin' here!" Michiko Passos, first year University student said "That's how you play quodpot! No West coasters will eve beat us! This is just the start!"

I hope to see you all out Friday night to cheer on Quirank and Appalachia and again on Saturday to watch the University Quidditch team take on The New York City University of Magic and Team 1 and Team 2 face off again! Don't miss next weeks article! I will be featuring the gardening club along with announcing the homecoming schedule! Thank you very much students and staff!
